Telit - Connecting the World from the Inside Out - Watch Video

For our last episode of the 2018 season, we decided to do things a little differently. I’ve put together a quick recap of some of the show’s most memorable moments and greatest lessons learned from our guests.

When putting together the audio soundbites for this episode, I came across 3 key themes that seemed to resurface again and again while listening to (and learning from) these stories of IoT in action. For me, here are the 3 top lessons this season:

  1. STAY AGILE. Your IoT project should speed your organization up, not slow it down. Stay agile to avoid missing opportunities in the market.
  2. REMEMBER THE HUMAN. In the pursuit of data collection and insights, the human element is often neglected. Don’t forget the needs of your customer or the needs of your organization.
  3. DEFINE SUCCESS. If you want to achieve success, you’ve got to define it first!

As a final note, I’d like to thank our listeners, partners, and guests for making our first season of First Things First a success!

I hope you enjoyed our 2018 retrospect, and I look forward to next year’s stories from IoT implementers. We will be back in January 2019 with our standard format.
